Locals observed large ice chunks measuring up to seven centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued storm activity anticipated across different parts of both regions.
