This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
